How is tuesday higher than monday???
on Monday you’re still living off the high of the weekend but have accepted that it is about time you actually did some work. by tuesday you have grown to resent it again but the week is still far from over
some things are supposed to be painful or uncomfortable. like studying for a test, learning something new or confronting a personal fear. it hurts to suck at something, not understand a concept or feel that everyone is better than you. it’s hard to suddenly be productive when your old habits made you addicted to immediately gratifying things. it’s scary to do something you’ve been afraid of for most of your life or go somewhere you’ve never been before, whether this means choosing recovery, changing your thoughts or going to a new place. but growing isn’t supposed to be easy. keep going even when it feels uncomfortable because that’s when you know you’re on the right track. it will get easier and the end result will be amazing so don’t be discouraged.
